When Angela was a child her parents surprised her and her sister when they returned from a trip to see their grandparents with a new dog. So we did the same.

In one of the local malls they have a Paint Shop where our girls love to go. They pick out clay shapes and deck them out in color.

After a recent Disaster relief coordination meeting in Bangalore I took my parents to see the Leela Palace. It is a 7 Star hotel in the heart of Bangalore. We just took photos in the garden and toured the book store in the Leela Plaza Mall. But since rooms are over $350/night we decided not to stay for an evening.

Happy Birthday Song with a surprise present

Mercy tried to sing happy birthday to her grandpa (Jerry Germany) a few years ago. She had a hard time getting started, but finally got into the song. She sings, dances, and even offers pops a surprise present. Guaranteed to leave you crying.

Infant jetlag

This is one way to recover from Jetlag. I don’t know how many adults can crash out on top of their shopping carts, but it seemed to be working for Noelle. We made a quick visit to the US for Christmas in November and December. The kids have all been sick with colds and it is taking some time for them to readjust to the Indian clock.

We celebrated Mercy’s 4th birthday at Chucky Cheese. Noelle kept calling him Yucky Cheese. It was a blast though. Thanks to all who came and to my dad for paying for the party.
